Art is very honest work. Your thoughts and feelings are reflected in the canvas. What I would like to say with my art is the joy of living, celebrating the nature that strengthens, encourages and comforts the human being and human connecting with divine universe at the initial stage of our evolution. As a self-taught fine art painter, I mainly use general materials, the brush with acrylic paints on canvas and with watercolor on paper, to capture movement and life. It is also a way of mindfulness.

My diverse cultural background as Korean-Canadian, who was born and raised in South Korea and moved to Montreal by mid-teens, has influenced my artistic perspective. My works explore themes of identity and belonging, reflecting my journey through different environments and experiences. True belonging and the truth about who we are lives in our heart. Passionate about creativity, I continually evolve my practice according to my voice and vision.
